KUTH Foundation @6

The story of what is today known as Keep Up The Hope – KUTH FOUNDATION was conceived on the 14th of May 2010 after a meeting by chance of two like minds that have the passion to positively impact on the lives of people, especially the youths and indigent members of the society.

Before the said meeting, Mr. Gerald Azonobo who eventually became the Principal Promoter/Board member had set in motion some charitable activities which included the payment of medical bills of pregnant and nursing mothers at the General Hospital, Marina Lagos, visit of motherless and orphanage homes and the hosting of a one-week football tournament with the theme: “Curbing the menace of social vices” within Festac and its environ.

On the other hand, Mr. Francis Chilaka who equally became the Foundation’s Program Director/Board member was in the forefront of campaigning against the ills of social vices in secondary and tertiary institutions of learning, churches and gatherings of youths, reaching out to prison inmates and visiting of orphanage homes and homes for physically and mentally challenged children.

It was in the cause of the said meeting and realizing that they shared the same vision, they thought it wise to put their resources and wealth of experiences together and work for a greater good.  Six (6) years down the line, the relationship has continued to grow and wax stronger. The foundation has continued to receive recognitions and awards from local and international bodies. The foundation apart from rendering selfless services to individuals, have also been supportive of other foundations and faith based organizations.

In marking her sixth year anniversary, the foundation went down memory lane once more by visiting, Nigerian Red Cross Society - Motherless Babies Home and Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care & Treatment Home (School for the Mentally Challenged). We are happy to report that the children at both homes are been well looked after.
